FC Barcelona U19 A fell to a 2-1 defeat away to Atletic Balears on Sunday in Week 13 of the Division of Honour.
On the back of their midweek UEFA Youth League match against AS Roma which ended in a 3-3 draw, Gabri’s side went into the break two goals behind with strikes from Capella (30’) and Borja (33’).
Barça pulled a goal back with just five minutes left on the clock through Álex Blanco but there was not enough time to complete the comeback.
With this defeat, the U19s remain fourth in the league with 23 points, eleven behind leaders Mallorca who drew 2-2 with Girona this weekend.
