Sara England skipping out of famous mom Sandra Schmirler's shadow
Sara England was two-years-old when her mother, curling legend Sandra Schmirler died of cancer in 2000. The 21-year-old University of Regina skip is now looking to carve out her own identity, and represent Saskatchewan at next year's Scotties.
