Alouettes promote assistant coach Kavis Reed to GM

The Montreal Alouettes announced Wednesday that assistant coach and special teams co-ordinator Kavis Reed has been hired as GM, replacing Jim Popp, who was fired Nov. 7. Head coach Jacques Chapdelaine also had the interim tag removed from his job title.
