'Keep it up, boys!': Why Russia cheers its soccer hooligans at Euro 2016

Russian soccer hooligans are a new breed. They don't drink; they train. They work on their muscles and martial arts and plot strategy as if they're embarking on a military campaign. They've caused their share of outrage at Euro 2016 in France, but to many back home, including some government officials, they're heroes.
