Seven wins in a row for FC Barcelona Women

Xavi Llorens' side are on their best run of form this year at the perfect time in the campaign

FC Barcelona Women are enjoying a hot streak of late, as they continue to pursue top spot in the league.

Xavi Llorens' side are one point behind leaders Athletic Club and have been relentless in their chase of the title having won their last seven matches.

Since a home draw on 28 February, the womens' team has gone on a perfect run: Valencia (2-1), Transportes Alcaine (3-0), Rayo Vallecano (4-0), Sporting Huelva (2-1), Fundación Albacete (2-0), Collerense (3-0) and Espanyol (7-1). During those games, they have racked up 23 goals and let in just three.

This is the team's best run this season and will be hoping to round the streak up to ten in the remaining three games.
