FC Barcelona's in the air and headed to La Coruña
The team left this morning from El Prat Airport en route to Galicia for their La Liga Week 34 match against Deportivo
FC Barcelona are on the way to La Coruña, having departed at about 10:40a, Wednesday morning on a charter flight that is scheduled to arrive in Galicia at 12.20pm. It's a rare, midweek trip that will take them to Spain's northwest coast, where they'll face Deportivo at Riazor at 8.00pm.
In addition to the travel squad and coaching staff, defender Gerard Pique, serving a one-game ban, was also onthe plane to lend support to his teammates. Club Vice President of the Sports Area, Jordi Mestre, as well as Board members Silvio Elías and Javier Bordas, were also flying with the squad.
Rest before the game
Upon arriving in La Coruña, the players will head to the team's hotel to rest up before taking a bus to Riazor. After the match, the squad will return to Barcelona with a charter flight is scheduled to land at Barcelona-El Prat Airport at 1.00am.
