FC Barcelona train for final time before trip to Anoeta
Barça hold final workout after Thursday's rest day as they wrap up plans for Saturday's match at Real Sociedad
After enjoying a much needed rest day in the wake of their Champions League victory over AtlĂ©tico Madrid, FC Barcelona's first team returned to work to finalise preparations for Saturday's visit to San SebastiĂ¡n. Luis Enrique led all players available in Friday's session on Tito Vilanova Field at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Two Barça B players — Sergi Samper and Juan CĂ¡mara — also took part. The rain held off but it was a bit chilly, as the players got ready for a clash that they haven't won in their last five visits to Anoeta.
With the Champions League pushed aside, at least for a few days, Barça are looking to pick up three points that will get them closer to the La Liga title. After falling in El ClĂ¡sico, Luis Enrique's men now face the last seven games of the season with a cushion of six points over AtlĂ©tico and seven over Real Madrid.
After Friday's session, which was open to the media for the first 15 minutes, Luis Enrique is set to appear before the media to discuss Saturday's match.
FC Barcelona beat Real Sociedad — who are coached by former Barça B manager Eusebio SacristĂ¡n — by a score of 4–0 when the two met earlier this season on 28 November at Camp Nou.
