Barça B lost out to CE Sabadell in the final of the Copa Catalunya after conceding two second half goals without reply.

In the 14th minute of the game, play was stopped to pay tribute to the late Johan Cruyff, to which both sets of fans and players gave an ovation to the flying Dutchman.

Barca thought they had gone ahead after Chamorro slotted the ball into the net, only to see it ruled out for offside.

The game changed soon after the restart, as Sabadell took the lead on 51 minutes through Sandro.

Barca went in desperate pursuit of a leveler, throwing everybody forward in the latter stages but Sabadell had parked a host of  bodies behind the ball.

With Barca sending players forward in hope of grabbing an equalizer, they left themselves exposed at the back which Sabadell eventually capitalised on, as Forgas put the game to bed to make it 2-0.

Gerard Lopez’s side will be disappointed not to get their hands on silverware but must now turn their attention to league duties.
