FC Barcelona train as attention turns to Granada

After beating Espanyol 4-1 in the cup, the first team's next challenge is a home league fixture against the Andalusians

In the middle of two Copa del Rey derbies with Espanyol, the first of which was won in convincing style on Wednesday night, Barça have a league fixture at the Camp Nou against Granada (Saturday 4.00pm CET). As the packed January schedule continues, Luis Enrique gathered all his available squad for training on the Tito Vilanova field at the Ciutat Esportiva on Thursday.

The players involved in the lively encounter with their local rivals the night before used the session to warm-down, while the other players trained more intensely as their minds switch to the weekend’s match.

There will only be time for one more workout before taking on the Andalusians, and that’s been scheduled for the same place and the same time, 11.00am CET on Friday morning.
