FC Barcelona back at training after holiday break

Without Lionel Messi, attending the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, Barça commence preparations for Wednesday's La Liga clash against Real Betis

After a few well-deserved days of Christmas vacation, FC Barcelona returned to training on Sunday afternoon focused on their coming league match against Betis set for Wednesday at 8.30pm at Camp Nou.

Despite the absence of Leo Messi, currently in Dubai for the 2015 Globe Soccer Awards, Barça trained for the first time since winning the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan. All available first team players worked out on Tito Vilanova Field at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Barça will train again on Monday morning at 11.00am.
